Noun v. Verb…we learn to compare and contrast these parts of grammar. A noun is a person, place or thing for the most part, whereas the verb is action. We are all Energy at the core of us. In reality, we are mass and energy. Mass and Energy are polar opposites. Mass is Energy slowed down. Additionally, all mass has energy associated with it.

I like to tell students to think of Mass as a thing and Energy is what makes the thing move…mass being the noun and energy being the verb. You can be the noun of a student, just sitting there or you can be the verb of the student getting ready to learn, preparing for the acquisition of learning and development of knowledge, skills and abilities.
